What is Gel Nail Extension?

In 2 hours you can get your desired length, shape, color and nail arts to us efor 21 days. Gel nail extensions sound like extremely long nails but it can be done in every length and shape you desire. Sometimes it’s so naturally done that you can’t recognize if they’re real or not. If you want to look extra, you can get maxi length nails with nail arts for extreme results as well. It all depends on your choice. It’s 4 times harder then the natural nails and it gives 4 times more protection to the nails against cracking. In our counrty it’s the more popular option and the Acrylic nails come second of choice. But of course it may vary depending on the coice of the saloon or expert, and it may be different in different countries as well. Acrylic nails material is found by a dentist back in the time and it’s the oldest product in use. It has a powdery form and it becomes solid with the acrylic liquid. The disturbing odor it gives out comes from the acrylic liquid. Nowadays Polly Gel is the newest and the easiest product of use. It’s an alternative for the acrylic material.

Most frequent question we get is; Are the acrylic nails and gel nails extension the same?

Sometimes we get the question; Are the gel nails extension and the gel nails are the same?

• No, they are different applications.

The easiest key note is; if you want to extend the length of your nails or change the shape of them, it’s gel nail extension. If you want to keep your own length and have shiny, colorful, well-groomed nails for 21 days, it’s gel polish.
We want make a clarification at this point, sometimes some experts use the colorful gels as gel polish as it’s harder and has a more intense consistency than the gel nail polishes. This is a different service than the gel polish. We call it ‘covering the natural nails with gel’ fort he ones who want to keep their own length but to have a harder surface than the gel polish.
But the removal process is not the same for both applications. Gel nail extension is an intense process and it requires a serious hand workmanship. It takes 2 hours to apply. But the gel polish is applied on your naisl without extending the length and it take about 40 minutes. Lately as the brand new developments in the sector, the application has new fatures as dry manicure. Dry manicure is applied by using the special manicure devices.
When the gel polish is applied combined with the new techniques and dry manicure, it gives you a better result for longer.

Gel Nail Extensions Prices

There are plenty of alternatives in Gel Nail Extensions. The base price line starts with application of natural color gel nail extension. The gel is nude colored and it’s so similar to the natural color of the nail.
If you choose to have natural color gel nail extension, you can apply regular nail polish on the gel and remove it with nail polish remover/acetone. This one is suitable for the ones who don’t want to wear the same color for long, change it as much as they want.
The price line’s second choice is gel nail extension with gel polish. You may choose your color from our palette in which we provide 200 different colors. The price may vary on your choice of nail arts.
Your nails keep growing with the gel nail extention on, so you need to visit us for periodical maintenance in 3-4 weeks. The maintenance fee is lower than the main application itself. It may sound like a short care session but; With the growth of your nails, the gap between your nails and the gel extends. We fulfill the gap, repaire the deformated ones and clean the nails to regain the look as brand new application.

Types of Gel Nails

Acrylic Nails

Acrylic nails material is the oldest product in use. It has a powdery form and it becomes solid with the acrylic liquid. It’s fequently preferred in the Far East. We do not prefer it because of the disturbing odor it gives out but we provide acrylic nails in our saloons. There is a new addition and a modern version of acrylic, called "Smart Acrylic".

Dipping Nails

This is a simpler version of application of the acrylic. Mainly it’s used for express gel nail extentions or a more amatuer applications with the use of acrylic powder and nail glue.

Gel Nails

Gel is the most preffered material we use in our saloons. We mainly practice gel nail extensions because of its shiny look, different color options, it’s permanence and that it’s odorless. We use the special gel, created for nail extensions.

Smart Acrylic

It’s a smart combination of gel and acrylic.
It has the both products’ advantages.
We launched this product in Beauty Exhibition 2018, it has different options of application and it keeps being developed.
Smart acrylic service is the service that we will provide in our saloons in the next season with alternative application methods.
Gel nails in general are a great choice for the ones who have a crazy work schedule and at the same time they have household duties and don’t have enough spare time to lose on nail care. It’s a great comfort and a life saver.

Do The Gel Nails Harm The Natural Nails?

The most important part of the application of the gel nails is the preparation and removal process. 
The natural nail should be degraised and in the process of degraising over rasping ot the wrong choice of rasp might harm the nail.
The removal process is done with the rasp as well. But the rasping should be excercised only on the gel. When it gets closer to the natural nail, different kinds of rasps should be used to prevent the rasping off the natural nail.
Rasping on the natural nail may harm the nail.
In general the expert must be well trained and qualified to prevent the usual risks we intensely care for.
When the preparation and removal process is properly done, neither gel nails nor gel polish may harm the natural nails.

How long the gel nails last?

Depending on the growth speed of the natural nails, the advised time for use is 3-4 weeks. It can be used as long as desired if the periodical maintenance is done on time. It can be removed at any time.

Is the gel nails and nail biting treatment are the same thing?

Nail biting treatment is also a gel nails application.
The main difference between the gel nails and the nail biting treatment is that the nail biting habit deformates the nail bed. Fort his reason, the application technique must bu choosen based on the natural nails status. The natural nail shape should be analyzed correctly, or the extension may come off just in couple of days.
The long extensions should be avoided in the situations where the extension has no core nail to hold onto or in a case of deep biting.
First sessions give the natural nails chance to grow first and in this way the natural nail beds are reshaped and restored. Until the restore is gained, the gel nails must be short. After the nail beds get stable, we can proceed to longer looks.
